Our Company
HISCO Home Warranty Company* has been in the home warranty business since the inception of the industry. HISCO was the first company to be granted a home protection license by the California Department of Insurance. We are one of the founding members of the Home Warranty Association of California, an association representing the warranty companies that issue approximately 90% of warranties sold in California. CRES Insurance Services purchased HISCO Home Warranty May 1st, 2009.
This relationship makes perfect sense for the Real Estate Community because it created
the most concentrated protection for all parties involved in a Real Estate transaction.
Many of the coverages and practices in the home warranty industry were introduced by HISCO. HISCO pioneered the phone-in application, the FAX-IN application, and same-day billing to escrow. We were the first company to offer roof coverage, and our limits on concrete encased and inaccessible lines remain the highest in the industry.
Philosophy
The HISCO philosophy is to offer a product with broad, standard coverages, and then to offer the choice of options that tailors the coverage to the house. Having designed the broadest policy in the industry, we then offer that policy at the best possible price, and then we take care of the homeowner's problems fast. Ours is a service business that helps promote the real estate agents' referral business.

The service needs of the homeowners are handled by a staff with a unique background of warranty experience combined with having been in the retail service contracting business. When the homeowner reports a problem we understand it because we have actual 'hands-on" experience in addressing service problems. Your homeowner's satisfaction is our goal.
